Wagner Tuning’s Ø70mm Charge and Boost Pipe Kit is a direct upgrade for the VAG 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.3 engine fitted to a 6-speed DSG or manual gearbox. By replacing the restrictive factory pipework with larger 70mm aluminium pipes and high-quality silicone hoses, the kit improves airflow between the turbo and intercooler, helping the engine breathe more freely and respond more consistently under load.

This kit is a sensible companion upgrade for cars already running, or planning to run, a Wagner Tuning intercooler and supporting modifications, where the standard pipework can become a bottleneck.

What the kit does

The factory charge pipes are designed around stock power levels. Once airflow demand increases, the smaller diameter and plastic construction can limit performance and, in some cases, fail under boost. The Wagner Tuning Ø70mm pipes offer a wider, smoother bore for the pressurised air (charge air) travelling from the turbo, through the intercooler, and into the engine.
