The PFF5-1321 Upper Engine Mount Insert Kit is a simple yet effective solution designed to enhance your vehicle’s performance. Crafted from our durable Yellow 70A material, these inserts fill the key voided areas of the mount to restrict engine roll. As vehicles age and undergo upgrades, such as the 2-litre turbo engine pushing power beyond 250bhp, the original equipment (OE) rubber engine and transmission mounts can show signs of wear, including cracked rubber and excessive movement. The PFF5-1321 inserts are designed to fit within the voiding of the original mount, prolonging its life by stiffening and limiting the movement of the rubber. This results in a more settled transmission response during acceleration and deceleration, improving gear changes and reducing wheel-hop.
