Milltek Sport Active Valve Control – Ford Fiesta Mk8 ST & Puma ST
The Milltek Sport Active Valve Control (SSXFD413) gives you full command over your exhaust valves, letting you decide exactly how your car sounds at the press of a button. Designed specifically for the Ford Fiesta Mk8 ST and Puma ST, this plug and play controller takes the guesswork out of valve operation and puts you in charge.
Most modern performance cars use valves in the exhaust system to balance noise levels with emissions and comfort requirements. Out of the box, those valves often stay closed during normal driving, muting the character of the engine. This controller bypasses that limitation, opening up a louder, more engaging exhaust note whenever you want it.
How It Works
The unit is supplied with two remote key fobs, allowing you to switch between three operating modes on the move:
- Fully Open – valves remain 100% open at all times for the loudest, most aggressive sound.
- Fully Closed – valves remain 100% closed for the quietest possible drive, ideal for early mornings or quiet neighbourhoods.
- OE Mode – returns the valves to factory behaviour, opening and closing based on RPM and selected drive mode.
A built-in memory function means the car will start up in whichever mode you last selected, so there’s no need to reset it every time you get behind the wheel.

Important Usage Note
Exhaust valves should never be fully closed under hard driving. Running the system in fully closed mode while pushing the car can build excessive back pressure and may risk damage. For spirited or track driving, always use the fully open or OE mode.
