The Powerflex Black Series Upper Gearbox Mount Insert (SKU: PFF19-2231BLK) is engineered to enhance the performance and longevity of your transmission mount. Crafted from our robust Black 95A durometer material, this insert is designed to fill the voids in the original equipment (OE) rubber mount. By stiffening and supporting the often perished rubber bush, it smooths out gear changes, providing a more precise and settled transmission response during both acceleration and deceleration. This is particularly beneficial for tuned vehicles where rubber mount failure is common. Please note, a slight increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) at idle is to be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine/transmission and chassis.
